About this project

A beginner-oriented home alarm system demonstrating classic security-system behavior: a membrane keypad accepts a PIN to arm or disarm the system, an exit delay gives the user time to leave after arming, and an entry delay gives time to disarm before a PIR motion sensor triggers a full audible alarm. Status and countdowns are shown on an I2C 16x2 LCD, and the design is intentionally simple so it can be extended with more sensors or zones.
