Gas Leakage Detector Using Arduino
A budget-friendly LPG gas leak detector built with an Arduino and MQ-5 gas sensor, triggering a buzzer and LED when unsafe gas levels are detected.
- Suitable forB.Tech & M.Tech Embedded Systems students
- Build time1-2 weeks
- LevelBeginner
- Available atAjvika Labs, Kakinada
About this project
A low-cost home-safety build for detecting LPG/propane leaks. An MQ-5 gas sensor continuously samples the air; once its digital output crosses a threshold set by its onboard potentiometer, the Arduino sketch sounds a Modulino Buzzer and lights an LED as an immediate local warning, with an OLED display available for readout.
