About this project

A multiplayer, sumo-style arena battle built for the Arduino Alvik: players drive their robot in real time using a Modulino Knob and Buttons controller communicating over ESP-NOW, while a color-sensor-driven state machine on the arena floor triggers power-ups like a spin ('yellow-banana'), a control-reversal ('green-slime') and a freeze ('blue-ice') to outmaneuver opponents. Modulino Pixels provide LED feedback for calibration, readiness and end-of-round animations, and the last Alvik standing in the ring wins. Originally developed for Maker Faire Rome.
