Project Overview
Women Safety App Android Project Source Code is an intermediate-level Android project designed for B.Tech students. An android app which can INSTANTLY alert the Guardians( along with user location ) whenever the user is in an emergency situation. It can be triggered just by shaking the android device in which the app is installed

Objectives
- Understand the problem statement and define clear functional requirements for the system.
- Structure the application into clean, reusable modules with proper data handling and validation.
- Design and implement the complete solution using Java, Android.
- Test the implementation, document the results, and prepare a working demonstration.

Software and Tools
- Java
- Android

Working Principle and Implementation
The application follows a modular structure: a user-facing interface collects input, the core logic processes the data and applies the required rules, and the results are stored or presented back to the user. Data is managed through a structured data layer. The project is organised so that each module can be developed, tested and extended independently.

Applications
- Academic mini/major project submission for B.Tech (Android).
- Base platform that can be extended with additional features for real-world use.
- Hands-on practice with Java, Android.

Learning Outcomes
- Practical understanding of Java, Android.
- End-to-end project workflow: requirement analysis, design, implementation and testing.
- Documentation and presentation of a complete engineering project.

Project Details
- Domain: Android
- Level: B.Tech
- Difficulty: Intermediate

Detailed Project Description

Women Safety App Android Project Source Code is a personal-safety application: with one action (shake, button or voice) it alerts trusted contacts with the user's live location so help can reach them quickly.

How It Works
1. The user registers guardian/emergency contacts inside the app.
2. A trigger (device shake, SOS button or power-button pattern) is detected by a background service.
3. The app fetches the current GPS location and sends an SMS / message with a map link to every contact.
4. Optional actions: automatic call to the first contact, siren sound, periodic location updates until cancelled.

Technology Roles
- Java
- Android

Implementation Steps
1. Sketch the screens and the data each screen needs.
2. Create the project in Java, Android and set up navigation between screens.
3. Define the local data model (SQLite/Room/SharedPreferences) or cloud sync.
4. Implement the core feature (tracking, conversion, recording, reminders, playback).
5. Add background work / notifications / permissions where required.
6. Test on real devices, handle edge cases and optimise battery and performance.
7. Generate the APK and prepare screenshots and documentation.

Key Features
- One-touch / shake SOS
- Live GPS location sharing
- Multiple emergency contacts
- Background service
- Auto-call and siren

Expected Output
On completion the student will have an installable app that sends an emergency message with location to all saved contacts within seconds of the trigger.

Deliverables
- Complete source code with comments
- Database schema / data model and screen flow
- Project report with screenshots and results
- Demonstration-ready build
