From TinyML to VLMs: Bringing Visual Intelligence to App Lab

Detecting objects is normally half the solution. This Arduino App Lab project cascades a lightweight TinyML model with a local VLM to bring contextual descriptions of the scene. The TinyML detects, while the VLM explains! Run the application and view

About this project

Chains a lightweight TinyML detection model with a local vision-language model (VLM) in Arduino App Lab, so that detecting an object is only the first step: the TinyML model spots it, and the VLM then generates a contextual description of the scene, with both results shown together in the UI.
